rely on idmatch centers
The saddle, due to its particular function, plays an important role both in the athlete's comfort and in maximizing performance. Scientific studies have shown a significant loss of performance when discomfort is perceived while sitting.
Discover the size and shape that suit you best with the support of idmatch centers.
S or L indicate the width of the saddle, and what guides the choice between the two is the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
Size S: narrow distance, for people with a value below 120mm Size
L: wide distance, for people with a value above 120mm
If you have already identified the width of your sit bones through a medical visit or bike fitting, you will be able to find the saddle width that best suits you with ease. If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a hole in the saddle, and what guides the choice is the rotation of the pelvis/flexibility of our body. For those who have excellent pelvis rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it scales down to size 1.
1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning the absence of a hole.
2: indicates the presence of a smaller hole called "Flow."
3: indicates the presence of the hole called "Superflow" (the widest one).
People who are more "rigid" can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. On the contrary, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a hole.
If you are a Dynamic cyclist, who moves a lot on the saddle without having a precise position, we recommend a "flat" shape. If, on the other hand, you are a Static cyclist, meaning that you have a fixed position on the saddle and do not move much on it, we recommend a "Waved" shape.
