Cycling a route that crosses an entire island allowed me to fully experience a place. Instead of choosing the shortest route from A to B, I visited places that tell the story of this beautiful island and met the incredibly welcoming Sicilian people. Some of these places may be slowly dying, but with cycling and initiatives like The Sicily Divide, they have a fighting chance of surviving.

For riders who have been doing the winter work sat on the turbo trainer or on cold rides and commutes, our Spring Series coming this April is the time to shift gears, get the race kit and best wheels out, prepare their game face and put themselves to the first true test of the year.
