Every season tells a story, one made of hard work, growth, and delicate balance. For Selle San Marco, partnering with the KTM Factory MTB Team in 2025 meant sharing that journey, bringing our saddles to the places where every corner, every root, every meter truly matters.
The team wrapped up an intense year: 81 starts, 5 victories, and 19 podiums in total. Numbers that speak of consistency, team spirit, and an ongoing pursuit of performance.
Among the season’s highlights:
• Anne Tauber scored multiple top-5 finishes in the XCO World Cup, showing strength and steady pace.
• Giada Specia and Eva Herzog brought the team into the top U23 standings, contributing to the constructors’ title.
• Maximilian Foidl and Mathis Guay flew the flag high in the elite category, with top-10 results in Nove Mesto and Lenzerheide.
It was a season that put both athletes and equipment to the test, through rain, dust, and endless kilometers of singletrack. In every condition, the goal remained the same: to ensure support and freedom of movement. Because the right saddle is the one you don’t even notice.
Katharina Sadnik: A Champion’s season
Among the stories that made this season special, Katharina Sadnik’s deserves its own chapter. The young Austrian dominated the 2025 U23 XCC World Cup, winning key rounds like Pal Arinsal and finishing 3rd in the final race at Mont-Sainte-Anne, a result that secured her the overall title.
A success built race after race, through consistency, focus, and a great connection with her team. For her, as for the entire KTM Factory MTB Team, technical choice is an integral part of performance, a perfect balance of comfort, confidence, and speed.
Katharina, congratulations on your title! How did the season go?
Thank you so much! It’s been an incredible season. Winning the World Cup feels amazing, it’s been a year full of learning, hard work, and so many great moments. I’m really proud of what we achieved together as a team.
It was your first year together. How did you get on with Selle San Marco? What did it mean for you to work with the brand?
I’m super happy to be working with Selle San Marco! The partnership means a lot to me because comfort and trust in your equipment are so important in racing. The KTM Factory Team chose these saddles, and honestly, it was definitely the right decision, I feel completely comfortable and supported on them!
In racing, where every detail makes a difference, what do you look for in a saddle to feel truly comfortable and focused only on performance? What made you say, “OK, this is the one”?
For me, it’s all about feeling natural and balanced on the bike. When I tried the Selle San Marco Shortfit 2.0 3D saddle for the first time, it just felt right, no pressure points, perfect support, and it allowed me to focus 100% on my performance. That’s when I knew, OK, this is the one.
Now that you’ve won the U23 title, what’s next? What are your goals for next year?
Winning the U23 title is a big step, but it’s only the beginning! My goal now is to keep improving and gain more experience at the elite level. I’m really motivated for next season and can’t wait to see what’s next. You’ll definitely hear from me!
Behind Katharina’s title and the team’s results lies a shared vision: a saddle that supports the rider without imposing itself, restoring balance and confidence.
For us at Selle San Marco, this season was more than a list of results, it was the confirmation that technical precision can turn into pure emotion when it translates into performance.
And so 2025 closes with the smiles of a young, competitive team, and the certainty that the road ahead is still long, and waiting to be ridden.
